Autism There has been increasing interest over recent years in the application of virtual reality (VR) technology to facilitating skills and understanding for children with autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs). Our current research focuses on the use of virtual reality for the diagnosis and assessment of children with autism in community and school settings. Further, we are developing interactive virtual environments to aid in the social and communication development in children with an early diagnosis of autism. |
